The journey will take place at the beautiful “La Florida”.
At the foot of Monte Lema, a Ticinese peak offering an exceptional view over several valleys carved by streams and rivers—with unforgettable swimming spots and waterfalls, La Florida is a simple, luminous place dedicated to transmission, movement practices, and explorations of the body and creativity. In the village of Miglieglia, you’ll also find a restaurant and a small shop offering essential groceries.
In the village, there are various accommodation options: Airbnbs, holiday homes, beautiful retreat locations. But there is also the possibility, for those who wish to spend little and are open to encounters, to be hosted nearby by locals who support Florida’s activities. To arrange this, simply contact Manuela, who handles the organization.
Reaching the location may feel like a little journey, but there is no better time than May for a vocal journey amid the splendid vegetation of Malcantone, a unique region of the Canton of Ticino in Switzerland.
Here is the simplest way to get there: the closest city is Lugano. If you arrive at the main train station, take the small regional train FLP and get off in Magliaso, where postal buses depart directly to Miglieglia.
